To create a nice thick lather, quickly move your brush back and forth or in a vigorous circular motion over the soap in your soap bowl. You'll find that our synthetic brush is as good as or better at creating lather than many badger brushes. Try squeezing the brush to get lather that may be pushed deep into the bristles. This is often the best lather as it tends to be thick. Some of you may want to use a shaving cream instead of shaving soap. This is fine. To apply shaving cream, simply brush the cream in your bowl with the tips of your shaving brush. Next, apply to your face using in an upward motion. Completely cover your beard with the cream.
